Spain might seem like an unusual place to learn English, but it's becoming a popular choice! With UK prices rising and visa issues after Brexit, Spain offers great weather, affordable rates, and an ideal setting. Our location in a quiet, isolated town ensures a fully immersive English environment.

+ What's the accommodation like?

Our retreats are held in a charming Spanish-style villa with a private pool, large garden, and terraces. Classes happen in the cozy living area, and bedrooms are upstairs. Nestled in a natural forest with sea views, the villa offers a peaceful escape. Being in a protected park, we rely on truck-delivered water and solar power, adding to its unique charm!

+ Who will I be sharing a room with?

If you choose the shared living option, you’ll share a bedroom with another person, and bathrooms will be shared between several rooms. We’ll always pair people of the same gender in the same room, and each person will have their own bed and sleeping space.

+ Where is Los Caños de Meca?

Los Caños de Meca is a seaside village on the stunning Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) in southwest Andalusia, just two hours south of Seville. It’s perched on Cape Trafalgar, the historic site of the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar, where the Royal Navy defeated Napoleon’s Spanish and French fleets.

+ Will my dietary restrictions be catered to?

Our cooks prepare three homemade meals daily using fresh, locally sourced ingredients—a bonus of being in southern Spain! We focus on healthy, delicious dishes to keep you energized all week, with snacks available between meals. Let us know about any dietary restrictions during registration so we can accommodate your needs!

+ Are all the classes and activities mandatory?

Classes are optional, giving you the freedom to spend your time as you like. We schedule plenty of rest periods so you can relax, swim, walk in the forest, visit the beach, or review class materials—whatever suits you best!

+ Do you provide health or travel insurance?

We don’t provide health or travel insurance, so please check your coverage for Spain and bring any necessary documents in case of injury. Participation in sports and physical activities is at your own risk.

+ How do I make a payment to participant in a retreat? 

Upon registration, payment information will be provided. Payments are to be made by bank transfer.

+ How much do I have to pay for the deposit? 

The first payment deposit is 500€. It should be paid roughly two months before the start date of the retreat. 

+ Is the program payment refundable?

The first deposit is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to a substitute if you find someone to take your place, or it can be applied to a future retreat if you need to postpone.

+ What if I need to be picked up or dropped off in Seville out of the set hours?

In the case you cannot get to Seville for our predetermined pick-up and drop-off times, we can provide or arrange alternative transportation. This will be paid for by the participant.
